Margaret Hensley Khoshaba, LMFT, LSOE, LSOTP

Margaret Hensley Khoshaba is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 7 years of experience in the field. Margaret received her degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Northwestern University. She provides therapy with warmth, empathy and a focus on relationships. Growing up with an identical twin sister helped her recognize the pivotal role that relationships play in our identity formation and sense of self. She views the therapeutic process as collaborative, strengths based and systemic whether with one client in the room or more. As she gets to know you and understand the contexts of your life, you will create goals partnering her clinical experience and your lived experience. 

She has trained in several evidence-based models of therapy and believes in utilizing evidence-based strategies in the therapeutic process. Margaret has received training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy for youth with problematic sexual behaviors (PSB-CBT), multisystemic therapy (MST) and integrative systemic therapy (IST).

She currently works full time in the field of infant and early childhood mental health where she supervises a network of early childhood mental health consultants in childcare centers across Cook County.  

When Margaret is not at work, she enjoys going to the theater across Chicago and devouring any book she can get her hands on. She loves playing with her cats, Chicken and Waffles, and spending time with her husband and family.
